This is the website for Tim Peat Web Design and Development. I am a freelance web designer and developer based in both the Peak District, England, and Athens, Greece. I specialise in creating accessible websites that are fully optimised for search engines (e.g., Google, Yahoo, Live Search etc.).
The websites I build use pure XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and comply with W3C guidelines for web standards and accessibility. For more complex projects such as dynamic websites and online shops I also programme using the Ruby on Rails web framework. The end result is fast, accessible and robust websites that are fully optimised for search engines.
I work for clients in Europe and North America, and have experience in developing multi-language (including Greek) and multi-country websites and applications.
I also have an excellent understanding and experience of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and internet marketing. I offer this either as a separate service to clients wanting to improve their existing website's search engine performance or as an addition service to web design and development projects.
